Motorcycles Crash in Pontiac, One Person Injurednicholas-schrock-allstate

The Crash Reconstruction Unit is assisting Deputies from the Pontiac Substation with the investigation of a motorcycle crash involving two motorcycles on Huron near State Street.

A 65 year old Brighton resident was driving a 1995 Honda motorcycle west on Huron when a motorcyclist, with whom he was riding with turned right onto State Street in front of him. Both motorcycles collided causing the motorcyclist on the Honda to fall off.

The second motorcycle, a 2011 CanAm Spyder was driven by a 73 year old Brighton resident, who was uninjured.

Helmets were worn by both motorcyclists. The 65 year old was transported to McLaren Oakland by Star EMS where he is in critical condition and currently in surgery.

Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this crash, which remains under investigation.
