Ferndale’s famous Pig & Whiskey festival took place last weekend, with people from all over SE Michigan packing into the area behind the WAB and the Emory for three days’ worth of music, food and drink. Local bands played through the weekend as area restaurants sold pulled pork, beef brisket, ribs and other tasty meats and side items. Multiple beer and liquor vendors kept the drinks flowing as well. The event is hosted by Metro Times and is one of many great events that bring people to Downtown Ferndale through the year.
