The Dales Sale, June 15 and 16

The Dales Neighborhood Group is hosting a neighborhood wide yard sale June 15-16, with homes throughout the area participating. The neighborhood stretches from Woodward to Livernois, 8 Mile to Marshall.
Furniture, clothing and other household items are expected. Fem Noir submitted the above photograph
of items she has available, including a Pee Wee Herman doll.
Ferndale’s Yard Sale code allows residents to conduct sales without a permit, but limits residents to twice per year, three days at a time.
The Dales Neighborhood group formed in November as a way for residents to discuss safety concerns. Since then, the group has taken a three-pronged approach to community connectivity, creating committees for Neighborhood Crime, Social Events and Physical Improvements. They’ve also learned history and demographics about their area.
The Dales is the second major neighborhood group to form, with Woodland Park having been established in 1924.
