Upcoming Relay for Life Fundraisers

Relay for Life is a big deal in Ferndale. The main event takes place June 8-9 2013, 10am-10am at Ferndale High School. Several teams walk through the day and night to raise money and awareness for the American Cancer Society. Cancer victims, survivors and caretakers are honored.
Leading up to the big day are several small fundraisers.
On Friday May 10 from 6-8pm people are encouraged to come out and decorate Luminaries in honor of friends and family that lost their fight with cancer. The event takes place at Easy Like Sundae on 
W. 9 Mile Road in Downtown Ferndale.
On May 18 from 9am-3pm there will be an All Relay Rummage Sale at Roosevelt Primary School.
Organizers are also in the process of creating goodie bags to give to cancer survivors on the day of the event. They are looking for businesses that would like to donate an item to include. There will be 50 bags. Contact Breanne.Finkelberg@cancer.org if you would like to donate.
