Downtown Ferndale Audio & Video Tours Now Available
(Crystal A. Proxmire, March 21, 2013)
The Ferndale Downtown Development Authority (DDA) has come out with a new way to explore and enjoy Downtown Ferndale. Their new Downtown Ferndale Tours page of their website features three tours that visitors can view online, watch and listen to on their mobile devices, or print in pdf. form to carry with them through the 9 Mile and Woodward area. Tours are the Green Tour, Historical Tour and Public Art Tour.
The tour project was funded by a Preserve America Grant, administered by the National Park Service of the Department of the Interior. Preserve America supplied the Wayfinding grant which also funded the new branding and signage through the Downtown area.
