Police Report: Woman Attacked After Leaving Bus

At about 9:30 p.m. on 12/13/12, Ferndale police took a report from a 24 year old b/f who said that she was just attacked by an unknown man.
The victim said that she first encountered the man while she was waiting for a bus at 8 Mile / Warren in Detroit. The man drove up in a blue/gray colored mini-van and asked her if she needed a ride. She declined and the man told her that he would follow the bus.
The victim then got on the bus and rode to 8 / Livernois where she got off. She looked for the suspect, but did not see him. She walked north on Livernois for several blocks, then was attacked by the same man she had seen earlier. He grabbed her from behind and began to drag her. The victim had keys in her hand and used them to defend herself by hitting the attacker with the keys.
During the struggle, the woman was not injured, but her glasses were broken.
The attacker may have injuries from being scratched by the keys.
SUSPECT DESCRIPTION:
w/m, approx. 50 years old, slicked back grey hair, grey mustache.
He was driving an unknown make or model blue/gray colored minivan.
