Learning the language of color is really learning to see. Looking at DIA art from different times and different places we’ll explore the varied ways artists employ color – to grab your attention, to get an emotional response, for its symbolic meaning, to move your eyes around a surface, or for sheer delight

Learn about the various ways artists employ color—to grab attention and to evoke happiness, sadness, solemnness and awe, among other emotional responses.  This one hour presentation is one of many educational and inspiring events happening at the Ferndale Public Library.  Find out more about library happenings at http://www.ferndale.lib.mi.us/.
