Ferndale Area Chamber Gives 2012 Awards (video)

The Ferndale Area Chamber held its 2012 Annual Awards and Recognition Gala at Shriners Silver Garden on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012.  The elegant event featured a strolling dinner, a vast silent auction, an “art concert,” and of course the presentation of several awards.

Chamber Executive Director Jennifer Roosenberg and her staff members Adrianne Greer and Katie Johnson awed the crowd with their freshly-dyed hair, which was the result of a Chamber Membership Challenge.  The deal was that if 100 new members joined, the ladies would turn their brown locks gold. Roosenberg and Chamber President Jay McMillan presented the awards.

Money raised by the sale of auction items and the paintings which were done live on stage go to help the various causes supported by the Ferndale Area Chamber, including a new scholarship fund that they’ve started.
