JFK All-District Fall Festival Saturday at Kennedy
(Kennedy School Press Release, Oct. 19, 2012)
Fall is in the air, and the excitement is mounting for the young and young-at-heart as the Ferndale Schools All-District FALL FESTIVAL is just around the corner.
This year’s event, sponsored by the JFK PTA, is scheduled for Saturday, October 20, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at John F. Kennedy Elementary School.
The festival will again feature activities and games for kids, including a rock-climbing wall (weather permitting), inflatable bounce house, slides, carnival games, and the popular Haunted Hallway. Arts and crafts, a Boo-tique (featuring face painting) and bake sale will round out the afternoon. Food and refreshments will also be available. Food/game tickets are 4/$1 and wristbands, good for unlimited inflatable fun, are $8 each.
“Gone are the days of using secondary supply companies to support our special events, teacher grants, educational & entertaining assemblies and activities,” commented Melissa Wilson, current JFK PTA President. “The DIY Dunk tank and district-wide Fall Festival are two of our best fun-raising events of the year! Come join us at JFK on October 20th.”
