Fall Family Fun at an Affordable Price! Fall Festival Oct 13
(Chamber of Commerce Press Release)
It’s time for hayrides, apple cider and lots and lots of fun for the whole family! The Hilton Fall Festival Committee, which is comprised of the Ferndale Area Chamber of Commerce and Ferndale Recreation Department, is hard at work preparing for the event of the season which will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Hilton Fall Festival will be kicked off by The Angel Kisses 5K race ( www.angelkisses.org) which runs on Hilton Road and will be closed down at 6 a.m. on Saturday. Several different activities will be held throughout the day including carnival games, inflatables, trick-or-treating, costume contests, pony and hay rides, pumpkin painting and a whole lot more!
Tickets for the activities will range from $1 to $2 each. However, all-inclusive wristbands can be purchased for just $5 which is great for parents who can have their kids participate in all activities for just five bucks! The Festival organizers are able to offer this all-inclusive price structure because of the generosity of its local businesses. Major sponsors include: Garden Fresh Gourmet, ParkIt, Search Optics, Oakland County Parks, Grand Central Self Storage, EPIC MD, DTE Energy, and Credit Union ONE. In addition, a team of Hilton Road business owners and Chamber members have volunteered their time to help plan the event.
