City Distances Itself from Water Resource Letters

(City of Ferndale Press Release, Ferndale 115 News, July 20, 2012)

The City Manager’s Office has recently been contacted by American Water Resources, a private company that offers an optional water line protection program to homeowners. The company has informed our office that it will send mailings to residents that advertises and promotes their water line protection services.

This City of Ferndale does not endorse this organization or the program.

The City Manager’s Office encourages residents who are curious about their responsibilities as a homeowner to contact their homeowners’ insurance provider for more information.

Information about American Water Resources (AWR) can be found at http://www.awrusa.com/american-water-resources/.
