Citizens Bond Oversight Committee Seeks Members

The Board’s Operations Committee is compiling a list of interested citizens who would like to serve on the 2012 Citizens Bond Oversight subcommittee. The group will meet monthly starting in May prior to each Operations Committee meeting to review bond projects.

Update Ferndale Schools BOND Needed Upgrades & Improvements
2 0 1 2 Technology Bond Project Update Network Upgrade Project:

or of Technology Melissa Auchter reported to the Board this month that her team is working to finalize the specification documents, network maps, and implementation plans for the network switch and cabinet replacements in all buildings.
They expect to begin purchasing equipment in early May and hope to start configuration and implementation at the end of May. This project is expected to continue throughout the summer.
Wireless Network Expansion Project:
Technology is also working with vendors to finalize the specification documents, wireless network maps, and implementation plans for all buildings. They expect to start purchasing equipment in June and hope to start configuration and implementation in July. This project is dependent on the completion of the network upgrade project. With the switch upgrades, they are adding network access and capacity to run the wireless access points. This project will continue over the next year in all buildings and will be complete once all the FHS classroom renovations are complete.
