Woman Grateful for Returned Wallet

While stories of a shooting or a robbery might make for compelling headlines, we are pleased to report there are still good Samaritans in Ferndale.

On Friday,Dec 16, 2011 the Ferndale 115 News was  contacted by a reader named Erlean Smith, who wanted to share the following message…

“Thanks to the thoughtful,considerate and kind lady who found my wallet in the parking lot behind Dollar Castle.  She left it with the also kind and considerate manager at Dollar Castle. They held onto it until  I returned for it. I was truly affected by their act of kindness and I will pay it forward.  It’s good to know there are still good people amongst us. Thanks again and have a safe holiday season!”
