Learning is not only fun this Winter Break, it’s cool & delicious at Treat Dreams Winter Break Ice Cream Camps December 19 – 30!
Treat Dreams is offering two weeks of fun ice cream making Winter Break camps for kids. Students will learn the art of ice cream making and then work together to create two original ice cream flavors that will be sold the following day as part of Treat Dreams’ daily flavors.
Camps are $35 per student for a three hour session: 9am-Noon or 1pm-4pm. Sessions are available December 19-23 and December 26-30 for students ages 8-12 and 13-16. Each student will receive 2 pints of their original ice cream to take home. Additional pints will be available for purchase. To register for a Winter Break Ice Cream Camp, call Treat Dreams at (248) 544-3440. Camps are limited to 8 students per session.
Treat Dreams is located at 22965 Woodward Avenue in Ferndale, MI 48220. The micro-creamery is open 1 pm – 9 pm Monday – Thursday & Sunday, and 1 pm – 10 pm Friday & Saturday. The shop features 12-14 homemade ice cream flavors daily, as well as sorbets, frozen yogurts, homemade vegan ice cream, ice cream cakes and pies, and assorted baked goods.
To date there have been over 240 unique flavors, some of which stay in the rotation, and others fall to the wayside. We are partial to the 115th flavor that was created – a blend of Nerds and Smarties called The Ferndale 115 Brain Freeze.
