Donations to Goodfellows go directly to help Ferndale and Pleasant Ridge families in need, and the organization relies on the charity and generosity of those in the community who can space a little to help their neighbors.
On November 14, Kelsey Wilson, FHS Senior, signed a National Letter of Intent to play volleyball with Akron University. In addition to playing for Akron, Wilson received a full athletic scholarship for tuition, room and board, books and supplies.

The community input meeting takes place on Monday, Nov. 21, 2011 from 6:30pm-8pm at Woodward Avenue Candy Shop (23337 Woodward). Cristina Shepard-Decius announced the event at last Monday’s council meeting, saying “We want to find out business needs for Woodward Avenue. How do you interface with businesses that are along there?”
