CFF Hosts Library Board Candidate Forum
(10/29/2011)
Citizens for Fair Ferndale hosted a forum for the upcoming Nov. 8, 2011 elections. As part of that forum, candidates for the Library Board were invited to participate. Because none of the candidates have any opposition, a debate-style forum was not necessary, though CFF gave each candidate up to five minutes to introduce themselves and discuss what issues they think are important to serving on the Library Board.
James O’Donnell and John Sterritt are each running for full six year terms, for which there are two available seats. They showed up for the forum along with Monique Herzig who is one of two candidates for a partial term.
Judeen Bartos, also running for a partial term, did not attend, nor did the unopposed candidate for Library Board Director Tiffani Gagne. Kathryn Bruner-James moderated the forum, which took place on Oct.23, 2011 at the Ferndale Public Library.
To hear what candidates had to say, see the video below which was filmed for CFF by Keith Dalton. (The pics are taken from the video as well. Thanks, Keith!)
