Armed Robbery Reported on Withington

On 07/08/11 at about 1:00 a.m. Ferndale Police investigated a reported armed robbery with a pistol that occurred near the intersection of 9 Mile / Pinecrest. The victim (27 yr. old man) said he was walking on Withington when he was approached by two black males. One of the b/m’s pulled out a silver handgun, pointed it at the victim, and demanded all of his property.

The victim was intoxicated. The description he gave of the robbers was that they were black males. The one with the gun had a button down blue shirt.
