Ferndale Artist Howard Weingarden Passes at 67

Ferndale artist Howard Weingarden passed away on June 20, 2011 at the age of 67. He is survived by loving family and friends, including Step-Mother Shirley Weingarden, brother Dr. Gary Weingarden and his wife Beth, and sister Marcy Weber. Services were held at The Dorfman Chapel in Farmington Hills.
Weingarden’s passion for art led him to create in many media, including painting and pencil drawing. The ethereal quality of the images, including the rich dreamy colors, taps into the imagination and reveals part of the man’s soul which will be dearly missed by friends, relatives and art lovers throughout the area.
