Ferndale Public Library Offers Free Storytimes for Kids of All Ages

Jillean McCommons, the Ferndale Public Library’s new Children’s Librarian, has begun offering storytime programs for kids from birth to age five, and a special storytime for families with kids of all ages.

The programs are free and require no registration. For older children there are crafts as well as stories. The following schedule will run through the end of May.

 

Tuesdays

10:00 AM – Crawlers

11:00 AM – Walkers

 

Wednesdays

6:15 PM – Family Storytime

 

Thursdays

1:00 PM Jumpers

 

Fridays

3:00 PM – Afterschool Craft Club

 

Crawlers = children ages birth to 24 months

Walkers = children ages 2 and 3

Jumpers = children ages 4 and 5

Family Storytime = all ages
