Sweetheart Date Night Memories

Ferndale Recreation hosted this year’s Sweetheart Date Night on Friday, February 11 at the Gerry Kulick Community Center. The recreation department paired up with the Emory to offer guests a special, Sweetheart Date Night menu for a delicious dinner prior the dance. Many couples took advantage of the special and enjoyed a wonderful dinner beforehand.
The fun continued at the dance where over 30 sweethearts and their dates danced the night away to their favorite tunes like: the cha cha slide, chicken dance, limbo and many others.
Guests were dressed to impress and brought the fun all night.
Ferndale Recreation would like to send a special thanks to Scott from Treat Dreams for providing “Ms. Kooky Monster” ice cream, Larry and Monica Mills for the beautiful pictures of all the couples, our volunteers from BuildOn, Chris and Krista Johnston of the Emory for offering the pre-dance dinner special and all of our couples for attending! We look forward to another great event next year!
