Forces Combine for Fall Festival Fun – Oct 23

Hilton Road will be closed off to cars and packed full of family fun on Saturday, Oct 23, 2010 for the Hilton Fall Festival. The festival goes from 2-8pm, and the road will be closed to vehicle traffic from 10am to 9pm.
This year’s festival is a joint effort by Ferndale Recreation, Ferndale Area Chamber of Commerce, and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. There will be kids games, pony rides, hay rides, concessions, pumpkin and apple sales, an arts & crafts fair, rock climbing wall and much more.
At 6:15 pm, kids and adults can participate in a costume contest, then from about 7-8 pm, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will bring their 5K Run Like Hell run onto Hilton Road. Runners will be dressed in costumes. During the run, kids in costume will be able to trick-or-treat at participating businesses that will be decorated and lit up for Halloween.
The event costs $4 per person (up to $15 per family). All activities are included in this price except for food, beverage and arts & crafts sales. Wristbands will be sold at entry points and must be shown to participate in activities.
