Yesterday evening at approx. 5:30 p.m. police acted on information supplied by a citizen that he was just assaulted by a man who pointed a gun at the informant. He further stated that the suspect was wanted on several warrants. Police verified the information on the warrants (multiple warrants out of Flint for DWLS, Resisting arrest, Failed to yield and possession of Marijuana. Martin also had numerous valid warrants out of the city of Detroit, and found the man was not licensed to drive). Police stopped him and arrested him. They found that he was in possession of marijuana and a substantial amount of cash. After being arrested, the suspect offered to split the cash with the officer, if he would let him go.
