Ferndale’s University High School is a public high school operated by the Ferndale Public Schools with a mission to ensure all students graduate not only from high school, but also from college. UHS was founded in 2005 in a partnership with Lawrence Technological University that provides on-campus and dual enrollment opportunities for UHS students.

Among their many accomplishments since UHS opened in 2004, students have won Robotics competition trophies, participated in an award-winning Innovative Vehicle Design (IVD) competitions through the Convergence Education Foundation, and recently received state and national recognition for DECA marketing club competitions.
