At a meeting of the Royal Oak Schools Board of Education on October 8, the superintendent and administration reviewed a plan to bring students back into the school buildings beginning November 9, 2020, the first day of the second quarter marking period.
As Holly Area Schools plans to re-open their doors to students, Superintendent Scott Roper took some time to meet with local business leaders at the Holly Area Chamber of Commerce monthly breakfast to give updates about the district.
Residents can share their thoughts with the City in a number of ways, including by using an interactive online map or by visiting upcoming on-street demonstration projects and then sharing feedback. City staff are also available to join community meetings.
“The data proves we have changing demographics. Stagnant housing does not respond to the needs of the community and I think this gets us moving in the right direction,” Ferndale Mayor Melanie Piana said.
The resolution also calls for the City to “implement at least two economically viable renewable energy or energy efficiency projects, policies, and practices annually now until 2030,
