Three Oakland County Board of Commissioners programs have been honored with 2023 Achievement Awards from the National Association of Counties (NACo).
Berkley Parks & Recreation has received a donation in the amount of $5,000 for their inclusive park fundraiser from Wayne Wudyka, owner of Huntington Cleaners, Wesch Cleaners, and Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network.
This campaign will allow the city to complete updates to the pathways and pavilion, add restrooms to increase the accessibility and use of the park, and provide a state of the art universally accessible playscape.
Oakland County Executive Dave Coulter joined local business leaders at VITRINE in Berkley to encourage holiday shoppers to purchase gifts and other items locally, especially on Small Business Saturday.
