Fourth Graders’ Charity Makes it Big Time…

…The girls were also invited by organizer Dean Bach to set up a table and sell dog toys that they had made to raise money for K9 Club Cares. There were multi-colored chew toys made of fleece, and ceramic dogs tags available. Over 100 items were sold during the four-hour event. They expected sales to be $200, but a generous anonymous donor made their till double by the end of the day…

But for those that live on the Northwest corner of town, snow days are a lot easier thanks to The Woodland Park Improvement Association (WPIA). And also to Clinton Rasch, the kind neighbor who gets up bright and early with his monster snow blower to clear the walkways of W. Oakridge, W. Drayton, W. Woodland, W. Maplehurst and part of W. Lewiston as part of a low-cost agreement with the WPIA.
