Clinical Relief Drug Charges Dismissed

When the owners of Clinical Relief, formerly located at 362 Hilton, opened in May 2010 they did what they thought they were supposed to. They applied for a business license, they went through the permitting process, had walk-throughs with local police and city officials, and referenced the State’s Medical Marijuana Act and the Oakland County website when creating a business plan they specifically believed complied with the law.

Chicken Coop Ordinance to be Considered by Council Monday

Last summer’s chicken coop discussions are finally coming to a vote at Monday night’s City Council meeting. Goodfellows Christmas Success

The Ferndale Goodfellows took in 75 applications for assistance this holiday season. Some were from seniors who just needed food, and others were from families with children. Ferndale Fire Sergeant Ken Kronner said that each applicant received a food certificate to Ferndale Foods located at Nine Mile and Livernois as well as a voucher to 1 of 3 restaurants in the city: Hambo’s, Sam’s Ferndale Grill or Hilton Cafe. The amount was determined by the size of the family. Each child received a $30 gift card to Target.
