Are You Ready for the Pub Crawl ~ July 26

The premise is simple. People meet at Boogie Fever and get a wrist band and a color-coded itinerary. Groups of 20-50 are sent out with each headed to a different location to start. Then they follow their lists, switching spots every 20 minutes or so for a new party experience. Check in runs any time between 6:30pm and 9pm at Boogie Fever.

Higher Student Loan Rates Stay

…she’d hoped to be able to get enough support for a bill that would roll back student loan interest rates from 6.8% to 3.4%. But the vote never happened, as it was blocked by a Republican filibuster. With 60 votes needed to break the filibuster, a total of 51-49 was as close as Democrats finally came.
