The parade will step off on May 27 at 9:00 a.m. sharp on Main Street at Lincoln

Once reaching Lakeside Cemetery, a ceremony will take place.
Holly continued its annual tradition of hosting a Memorial Day parade and as usual it was quite the community event.
Scouts across Oakland County honored those who made the ultimate sacrifice this Memorial Day weekend, carrying out multiple service projects and serving as flag details in parades across southeast Michigan.
One component that was not missing was the firing of Ron Cleveland’s Civil War Cannon, circa 1862
Among the groups participating were Holly Youth Assistance, scout troops, and the Holly High School Marching Band.

Throughout Oakland County Memorial Day has been honored with parades or ceremonies for decades. Yet in 2020 events have been cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
In Oakland County, we have a proud heritage. We are the home of at least two officers who died while serving the Union in the Civil War.
The virtual parade will include footage from past parades, plus heartfelt messages of gratitude offered to military veterans, first responders, and front line workers.
