Downtown Holly Needs Online Votes for Grant Competition
(Crystal A. Proxmire, July 6, 2021)
Holly, MI – Downtown Holly is in the running to win a $5,000 Bridge Builders Main Street Microgrant from Michigan Municipal League. The grant would help “bring some cool events and enhancements to our Battle Alley Social District!” according to Downtown Holly Director Nick Klempp.
Holly’s submission is the only one in Oakland County. There are several entries around Michigan, including a mural project in Muskegon Heights, creating an historical tour in Downtown Ironwood, and a photography contest in Presque Isle.
People can vote once per day through July 16 at https://mmlfoundation.org/grants/first-fridays/.
