Cities Declare Snow Emergencies

(Crystal A. Proxmire, Feb. 15, 2021)

Oakland County, MI – Cities throughout Oakland County are announcing snow emergencies in anticipation of overnight snowfall that’s estimated to reach between 7-12 inches.

In a snow emergency cars that are left on streets can be ticketed or towed. This is to ensure that snow plows have a clear path.

The rules, fines, and procedures vary for each city and readers are encouraged to check their municipal website for details.
