Lathrup Village, MI – There are a lot of interesting choices on the menu at The Jagged Fork, a local chain with locations in in Lathrup Village, Rochester Hills, West Bloomfield, Grosse Pointe Farms, and Ann Arbor.

I visited the Lathrup Village Location recently for their Chicken Pomodoro Omelet.  This masterpiece was made with fresh eggs, sautéed chicken, tomato, basil, onion, house made pine nut basil pesto and mozzarella topped with marinara and parmesan cheese, which I had with Denver Hash and a strawberry crepe.

The crepe was stuffed with fresh strawberries and cream cheese, as well as fresh strawberry slices on top, and syrup on the side. This was yummy, as was the omelet.

Other exciting omelet options are the Baja Cali (tomato, onion, bacon, guacamole and Swiss cheese), the Thanksgiving (spinach, turkey sausage, cranberries and Swiss cheese), and the Panchero (chorizo, onion, green pepper, tomato and cheddar cheese).

The Jagged Fork also has breakfast tamales, savory crepes, sweet crepes, waffles, and other breakfast fare.  There are also sandwich and salad choices.

For a healthy lunch one might pick the Sparta salad with chicken, feta, grilled onions, beets, dill, avocado and Greek dressing, or the Signature salad made with chicken, tomato, pecans, dried cranberries, avocado and taco strips served with champagne vinaigrette.

Sandwich options include the J.F. Club, the Cali Club, the patty melt and the chicken pesto.
