Sept. 8 – Zoom Presentation on “Flawed Victory of Women’s Suffrage”

The Rochester Hills Public Library and Smart Towns will present a live online presentation titled, “The Flawed Victory of Women’s Suffrage” with speaker Karen A.J. Miller, an associate professor of history at Oakland University, on September 8, 7-8:30 p.m. The live stream will air on Zoom.

The passage of the Nineteenth Amendment gave the vote to adult women in the United States. Miller will discuss and examine what women’s suffrage accomplished and what it failed to achieve.

Registrants will be emailed a Zoom meeting link and instructions on how to download the free application for a mobile device or computer.
