Aug. 29 – Royal Oak Giving Away Mosquito Repellent following Positive West Nile Virus Test

Royal Oak, MI – The City of Royal Oak was informed by the county health division that they detected a positive mosquito pool for West Nile Virus from a trap set Aug. 17 at Quikstad Park.

Mosquito Insect Repellent Give Away

The City of Royal Oak will be giving away Natrapel insect repellent — courtesy of an Oakland County grant — at the Royal Oak Farmers Market this Saturday, Aug. 29.
You can pick up the repellent from 8-10:45 am on the west porch of the market. It’s free while supplies last!
Natrapel is the DEET alternative that repels mosquitoes that may spread the West Nile Virus. It is plant based and long lasting. (Up to 12 hours.)
