Aug. 10 – SEMCOG: Exploring Great Lakes & Fresh Water Week

Aug. 10 – SEMCOG University Webinar: Exploring Great Lakes & Fresh Water Week

Great Lakes and Fresh Water Week (August 8-16) is an exciting time for Southeast Michigan residents to connect with our abundant fresh water resources. This week celebrates the importance of water and how the individuals throughout the region can be good stewards. In coordination with Water Week, the 2020 One Water Campaign will run during this time, to help the public understand the connection between our water systems. This webinar will kickoff the celebration and educate communities about how they can participate in both Great Lakes and Freshwater week and the One Water campaign. This event will feature speakers from Office of the Great Lakes, the Cranbrook Institute of Science Fresh Water Forum, Great Lakes Water Authority, and SEMCOG.
