Now with Ferndale City Council’s recent approval, LIV is ready to launch a new phase of their business. A press release Wednesday said they’ll be starting recreational sales on Friday.
According to the release, “LIV will be bringing back our popular giveaway bags for the first 200 customers on Friday May 15, Saturday May 16, and Sunday May 17.
“To keep our guests safe, LIV will be giving away a bottle of hand sanitizer and three face masks.”
LIV will be providing curbside pickup and home delivery, plus they have an iPad menu that allows customers to explore the inventory. The menu can also be found on their website www.LIVferndale.com.
Liv is the first location in Ferndale and the fourth in Oakland County to offer recreational marijuana which will begin Friday, May 15.
At their April 27 meeting, Ferndale City Council voted to allow three recreational licenses, in locations that already had an existing medical marijuana dispensary.
Two other Ferndale dispensaries are expected to offer recreational pot soon as well – Green Buddha and Gage.
At the same meeting, Council also voted to allow two additional dispensaries that will be for medical patients only. Pure Green, LLC (642 E. 9 Mile) and Michigan Harvest Company, LLC (2505 Burdette) are the two provisioning centers in the works.
Recreational marijuana is available to customers age 21 and up.
