Man Arrested Driving Stolen Front End Loader on Milford Road

Highland Twp, MI Deputies were dispatched to the area of Clyde Rd and Milford Rd on the report of a stolen Caterpillar front-end loader driving down Milford Rd. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the front-end loader and determined it was stolen from the Consumers Energy Pipeline worksite at Fish Lake Rd and Clyde Rd.
The vehicle was a 2019 Caterpillar 926M Front end loader valued at $283,000.00.
Lowe stopped for deputies and confessed to stealing the machine.
The machine was returned back to Consumers power who was renting the machine from Caterpillar.
Jonathon Lowe was arraigned at 52-1 District Court in front of Mag. Andra Richardson on 1 count of UDAA (Unlawfully Driving Away in an Automobile).
