#LoveOrtonville Fundraiser Has Matching Funds to Help Small Businesses

#LoveOrtonville Fundraiser Has Matching Funds to Help Small Businesses

(Patronicity, May 5, 2020)

Ortonville, MI – The Ortonville Downtown Development Authority has teamed up with Main Street Oakland County and Patronicity for a #supportlocal fundraising campaign to help qualifying local businesses.  Matching funds help individual donations double in this online fundraiser.

“In this crisis we turn to what’s most important. Our family, our friends, our neighbors…Our community! And that fills us with…Hope, Compassion, Purpose and Resolve,” says the campaign page. “Brighter days are ahead for us when doors will reopen, streets will fill, and activities will resume.  We will shop, dine, stroll, gather and celebrate…together…again!”

Minigrants will be given to qualifying businesses.  These mini-grants can support:

Purchase Inventory/Goods for Sale

Other Working Capital

Costs Associated with Public Health Recommendations for the Workplace

Marketing and promotion expenses associated with recovery/rebound campaigns geared toward generating commerce and reacquiring customers.
