53% to Monthly Pledge Goal!  Here’s How to Chip In for Local Journalism

(Crystal A. Proxmire, April 22, 2020)

Thank you so much to everyone who has made a contribution to keep Oakland County Times going in these unprecedented times.  Our website has taken a big hit as most of our advertisers are closed due to the coronavirus prevention efforts, and we’re grateful for everyone who has stepped up with one-time gifts, and with sustaining monthly pledges.

Our goal is secure $1,500 a month in ongoing pledges from readers who value the work we do.  This base of income means we can weather this storm and begin building our news team when advertising revenue picks back up.

When we put the call out earlier this month, Oakland County Times readers responded!  We were able to get over half of our needed pledges with this one request!

Help us get the rest of the way by sharing this pledge drive with others you think may be interested, and sign up for what you think this site is worth to you, and your family, and your community.

We are currently at 53% funding with $801 in small pledges from readers like you!  Just $699 more to go!

Please use PayPal for one-time gifts or select the monthly option.

Or Sign up on Patreon to make a monthly pledge.

Anyone who chips in $15 or more per month gets a thank you ad on the website (unless requested otherwise).

Thank you to everyone who is part of Oakland County Times! We will get through this tough time together. Stay home. Stay safe. And support local journalism.

Each Thank You ad is uniquely designed.  Here are some examples:
