Stay Connected & Informed: Facebook Groups Throughout Oakland County

Oakland County, MI – Many communities have online forums where people can learn what is going on in their community as well as connect with neighbors. These are actually a very effective way of finding out what is going on around town, so we’ve compiled a list of our favorites to make it easier for you too!

Groups that are titled “news and community discussion” are generally run by us here at Oakland County Times. Please join and don’t be shy about posting (unless you are sharing spam or grumpy stuff, civility is the main premise of our groups).

Here is the list of groups that we recommend. If you know of any we missed, join in the conversation on our Facebook Page.

Addison Township –NE Oakland County News and Community Discussion.

Auburn Hills – Please join the Rochester/Auburn Hills Area News and Community Discussion Group.

Berkley – There are many groups in Berkley. Ours is Berkley MI News and Community Discussion.

Brandon – NE Oakland County News and Community Discussion.

Clarkston – As of this post, the Village of Clarkston group has the most members.

Clawson – Clawson News and Community Discussion

Commerce Township – Walled Lake and Commerce Matters

Farmington/Farmington Hills – Farmington & Farmington Hills Community News and Discussion

Ferndale – Ferndale has a few groups. Ferndale Forum and Fabulous Ferndale Forum are the top two.

Groveland – This Week in NW Oakland County – covers multiple communities.

Hazel Park – Hazel Park Cork Board has more members, but Hazel Park Community Forum is also good
