Oxford Celebrates the Holiday Season

Oxford, MI – The holiday season has Downtown Oxford full of cheer.  In addition to a lovely atmosphere for shopping and dining, there were two community events that brought people together.

“Each year, we kick off the Christmas and Holiday Season in Downtown Oxford with Soup & Sweet Stroll,” said Village President Joe Frost.  “It’s a fun way to celebrate our community and small businesses, spend the evening with family and friends, and get into the holiday spirit.”

The Holiday Parade, Hosted by the Oxford Chamber of Commerce, took place Dec. 7 with over 65 entries participating. “This year’s parade was outstanding in participation and overall community attendance .  Even Mother Nature gave us a beautiful day” said Chamber Director Amy Desotell.
