Here’s How to Help Feed 3,000 Homeless People at Christmas

(Kaino Phillips, Dec. 2, 2019)

This Giving Tuesday, the Clarence E Phillips Ascend Foundation, along with contributions from people who care, will make an impact for the 9th Annual Mission to Feed 3000 Homeless Initiative.

On December 22, 2019, over 350 volunteers will assemble in Pontiac to work on close to $15,000 worth of food to be distributed to every homeless shelter in: Wayne, Oakland and Macomb County and they are asking for your help.

“Whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. And on GivingTuesday Dec 3, Facebook will match a total of $7 million in donations first come, first serve. Thank you for your support,” said Ascend Foundation Founder Kaino Phillips.

In addition to helping at the holidays, the Foundation provides youth outreach initiatives to help promote the power of community through various programs and community service impacts and so much more. Learn more and donate at www.theascendfoundation.org or through the Facebook Fundraising Page.
