Gatt, Casey, and Staudt Retain Novi Seats, Crawford and Fisher Also Elected

Novi, MI- Novi Mayor Bob Gatt will be continuing on in his position after getting 66.01% of the votes in Tuesday’s election. Gatt got 6,618 votes, while challenger Christine Ingles got 3,379 (33.71%).
For the three City Council positions, incumbent Laura Casey got 6,487 votes, incumbent David Staudt got 5,274 votes, and Hugh Crawford got 5,128. Colleen Anne Crossey came in fourth with 4,474 votes, followed by Tia Marie Sanders with 2,917 and Bin Qamruzzaman with 1,026 votes.
There was also a partial council term ending in 2021. Justin Fischer won that seat with 4,454 votes. Carolyn Upton came in second with 3,513, followed by Alexandra Dinser with 1,513 votes.
