Nov. 8 – Stars and Stripes Forever Celebration in Farmington Hills

 

Farmington Hills, MI- The City of Farmington Hills Special Services Adults 50 & Better Division takes great pride in recognizing and honoring community veterans with the annual Stars and Stripes Forever Veterans Day Celebration.  This year’s event will be held on Friday, November 8 at 11 a.m. at the Costick Center, located at 28600 Eleven Mile Road in Farmington Hills.

Tickets for the 23rd annual celebration for adults of all ages are $10 until November 4 or $12 afterwards and at the door.  Complimentary admission is offered to veterans residing in Farmington or Farmington Hills who are pre-registered by the November 4 deadline.

All veterans in the area and their guests are welcome to attend.  The event will include an honor guard ceremony conducted by the VFW and the American Legion, and a recitation of veterans’ names.   The celebration continues with a special luncheon, raffles, prizes, and entertainment by David Catherman and Mary Manier.
