Oct. 31 – Southfield Police Hosting Trunk or Treat

 

Southfield, MI – The Southfield Police Department will host Halloween “Trunk or Treat” on Thursday, October 31 from 6-8 p.m. in the south municipal campus parking lot located near the Police Station, 26000 Evergreen Road. The event will be held in the Southfield Pavilion in the event of rain.

The Southfield Police Trunk or Treat will feature the added fun of “Trunk or Treating” from a variety of police cruisers and SUVs. Participants will also be given an opportunity to check out the vehicles while children get a treat from each one along with important safety information for parents.

Southfield Parks and Recreation will be on hand with games and crafts as well as Southfield Fire Department, Outback Steakhouse and Kroger with additional fun and giveaways.

The Southfield Emergency Management Division will offer free Halloween candy screening from 6-9 p.m. at the Southfield Sports Arena. The recommended hours for trick-or-treating in Southfield are from 6-8 p.m.
