Oct. 26 – Oak Park Boo Bash

Oct. 26 – Oak Park Boo Bash

OAK PARK, MI – Oak Park’s famous Boo Bash event returns this Halloween season with thousands of trick-or-treaters expected to be in attendance. However, after receiving feedback from residents, this year’s Boo Bash will not be on Halloween night, and will instead be held on the Saturday before Halloween. This year’s Boo Bash is on Saturday, October 26, 2019 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

As always, the event is held at the Oak Park Community Center, located at 14300 Oak Park Blvd, Oak Park, MI 48237. Join the festivities as families in costumes from all over southeast Oakland County have a ghastly good time collecting candy and goodies down Trick-Or-Treat Street! Enjoy music by DJ Truth throughout the event, as well as cider and donuts at the end of the evening.

The Facebook event link for the 2019 Boo Bash can be found here.

Along with Boo Bash, Oak Park is also holding its 1st Annual Boo-Tification Awards! Oak Park residents who believe that they have the most boo-tiful Halloween display in the City can fill out a nomination form to be considered for an award! Nominations are due by October 10, with winners to be notified on October 24. Winners will receive a yard sign and bragging rights, and will be presented with their awards at Boo Bash! A printable nomination form can be found at this link.

For more information about both Boo Bash and the Boo-Tification Awards, please call the Oak Park Recreation Department at (248) 691-7555.
