Sept. 25 – Diversity Committee Meeting for Ferndale Schools

Ferndale, MI – The Diversity Committee of Ferndale Public School District aims for Ferndale to be a district in which each child feels, safe, included, respected and motivated to learn and a district that:

~celebrates its diversity and fosters relationships of acceptance;

~in which all families are empowered to advocate on their children’s behalf;

~that closes the achievement, opportunity and equity gaps that exist in our schools;

~in which the great community is connected and involved in guiding and nurturing our children.

There are three workgroups: Parent Advocacy, Student Equity, and Cultural Education.

The meeting takes place Sept. 25 from 6:30pm-8:30pm at Ferndale Upper Elementary Media Center.
