Sept. 22 – Festival of Food and Culture in Huntington Woods

Huntington Woods, MI – Food is an important part of every culture, and to celebrate National Welcoming Week from September 13th – 22nd, the new Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee is holding the first Huntington Woods Festival of Food and Culture.

The event will be on Sunday, September 22nd from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. at the Huntington Woods Library.

Think of a recipe, either hot or cold, that is part of your ethnic or cultural heritage. This might be a recipe passed down through your family, or it might be a typical dish you have learned to make from the country your family came from originally. Prepare the dish and then share it with your neighbors at this new event!
