Ferndale Police Arrest Suspect for Assault and Resisting Arrest After Incident Downtown

Ferndale, MI – Ferndale Police chased an assault and battery suspect about a block Sunday night after an incident near Woodward and 9 Mile.

“There was an arrest for A&B and resisting following a foot chase,” said Ferndale Police Sargent Baron Brown. “It started in the alley behind Como’s and ended up in the yard in the 200 block of Vester. No shots fired. No guns drawn. Ambulance was for the victim of the A&B who refused treatment.”

Brown did not comment further on the specifics of the incident, though this story will be updated if more information becomes available.
