Petitions Pulled in Walled Lake, Still Time to Run for City Council

(Crystal A. Proxmire, May 6, 2019)

Walled Lake, MI –

As of May 3, three Walled Lake City Councilmembers have requested nominating petitions from the City Clerk’s office for the Nov. 5, 2019 election.  Those incumbents are Tamra Loch, Casey Ambrose, and Bob Robertson.  Additionally, Dena Potter and Jeff Rondeau have also pulled petitions.  This story has been updated to include Potter and Rondeau since they were not included in the list that Oakland County Times received from City Clerk Jennifer Stuart.

Residents who wish to run for office can pick up petitions and an info. packet at Walled Lake City Hall at 1499 E. West Maple Rd.  The deadline to turn in petitions is is July 23, 2019, “4pm sharp” according to  Stuart.

The City Charter calls for 50 registered voters to sign, but no more than 100.
